Modernist in the news
This month we were named as an honoree winner of Portland Business Journal’s Most Generous Corporate Philanthropists in Oregon & S.W. Washington, Small Companies. We are delighted to have made the list after only two years in business.
Modernist is on a mission to fund our culture’s heroes. Given our current political climate and seemingly constant regressions around important social justice issues, we believe it is our duty as a business to fund the revolution.

P.S. Georgia was recently featured on Forbes, discussing why she founded Modernist to serve affluent creatives.
Songs that are really about philanthropy
We are so proud to have the opportunity to support positive change in our community. This holiday season, we encourage you to think about how you can engage your resources for the benefit of others. David Bowie said it all in “Heroes.”
We could steal time, just for one day / We can be heroes, forever and ever / What’d you say?
Around town: mindfulness & money workshop
The changing of the seasons can be a great time to reconnect with our inner selves. If you’d like to revisit your relationship with money ahead of the New Year, we recommend this workshop by friend of the firm and financial therapist, Laura Martin.
Just Enough: Mindfulness and Money. In collaboration with the Zen Community of Oregon. Saturday, November 11th 10AM - 5 PM. Register here.
