AUGUST NEWSLETTER: Modernist is Growing!
Hi friends,
Late summer is finally upon us, and we’re welcoming the changing seasons with open arms.
Changes are brewing here at MFHQ too: we’re growing!
Our team is adding space for three new rockstars: a Business Operations Manager, a Client Experience Associate, and a new Executive Assistant (we'll miss you Tracy)!
The Business Operations Manager will will bring a mission and client-centered approach to managing operations through growth and will help make Georgia’s vision a reality through sound execution, implementation, and creative strategy.
The Client Experience Associate (part of a new Client Experience department!) will support current and potential clients through high-touch friendly service, operations, retail management, and project management.
An Executive Assistant to Georgia who will also support Business Operations and Marketing to create a fun and easeful experience for the Modernist team.
We’d love it if you would help spread the word. Tell all your friends by sharing the deets on our Join Our Team page.
Here's to changing seasons and making new friends,

MODERNIST TAKES IT OUTSIDE
Give a listen to Georgia + Gia Goodrich on The Bold Bitch podcast.
They discussed writing new money narratives, the fabulous house gown Georgia commissioned from designer Adam Arnold, and why talking about money dismantles the status quo.
Portland Business Journal named Modernist the 14th Largest LGBTQ+ Owned Business AND 42nd Largest Money Management Firm in Oregon and SW Washington!
Not bad for this small but mighty team. 🏆
FUND YOUR HEROES
We’re SO excited to co-host a data-driven event about kids, equity, and generosity with The Oregon Community Foundation on September 23rd from 12-1pm.
We'll dig into their eye-opening research on opportunity and belonging for Oregon's kids. Take an hour to connect with like-minded folks who care about kids and equity. Please join us!
And who doesn’t want to journal with Georgia from the comfort of your own home?!
A Song That is REALLY About: the healing power of nature
“Let the river answer” had extra resonance this month as Georgia went on her WOW (Women on Water) trip! An initiative of the Freshwater Trust, this annual trip gathers Oregon women business leaders on a river rafting adventure to connect with each other and our PNW rivers and to support diversity in leadership.

You can hear the boats go by, you can spend the night beside her ...
Then she gets you on her wavelength / And she lets the river answer
